Winn-Dixie, Walmart, and CVS

Winn-Dixie: Profit of $0.34
Walmart: $1.35
CVS: $1.26
Total: $2.26 (includes tax of $1.16!)

McCormick Skillet Sauce: $1.99 each (on sale BOGO)
$0.50/2 mfg Q (not sure which insert) - doubled to $1 @ WD
$0.50/2 SavingStar rebate ($1.00 total after redeeming rebate twice)
2 - $0.50/1 Ibotta rebate ($1.00 total after redeeming rebate twice)
End total: profit of $0.51
  • TIP: Always, always, always save your receipts! Ibotta will let you upload receipts up to a week old, so in the case of the McCormick sauce I bought two, redeemed one on my receipt the night I purchased them, then the rebate showed up on my app again the next day and I was able to go back and redeem the other sauce I bought for an extra $0.50! This happens a lot for me in the case of the any brand items on Ibotta: I buy butter and sour cream at Walmart, two days later a rebate shows up on Ibotta for both, and I redeem them!
Budget Saver Popsicles: $1.96
- $2/1 mfg Q (budgetsaver.com)

- $0.09 (3%) rebate on Find & Save
End total: $0.88

Dial Complete Foaming Hand Soap: $4.00 (on sale 2/$4 @ CVS)
- $1/2 mfg Q (not sure which insert)
- $1/2 SavingStar rebate
- $1/2 SavingStar rebate
- $0.06 (2%) rebate on Find & Save
End total: $1.00 ($0.50 each)

  • TIP: I've noticed on the SavingStar app they will sometimes have two rebates for the same item. In the case of the Dial hand soap, there were two separate $1/2 rebates for this soap on the app, which means I was able to buy two, redeem both rebates, and get $2 back!

New Rebate Apps

I recently discovered some new rebate apps that I wanted to share with you guys!

- Shrink: Since I have only just discovered this app, there isn't much I can tell you yet except they have ways to earn points (which are transferable to cash) that don't require purchases, they offer any brand rebates like Ibotta, and once your total reaches $10 you can transfer your money directly to PayPal. I'm only to about $5 so far because I've only done the any brand rebates and random point activities, but if you're already using rebate apps I would say this one is worth downloading. Even if you don't buy anything featured on the app, they have "any receipt" bonuses where you can upload ANY receipt and get points, and you can redeem this up to 3 times per week with 3 different receipts! Why not?! If you do decide to download this one, please use my referral code HLVVJW at sign up and I'll get an extra $1 for everyone who signs up!

- Receipt Hog: This app doesn't require specific item purchases, but instead gives you points depending on how much you spend at each store. The more you spend, the more points you get. They also have "hog slots" where you earn spins on the slot machine game in the app where you can win instant cash prizes! If you're already using rebate apps and you have to upload your receipts on those apps, go ahead and download this one and upload it one more place to score some extra cash! Once you reach 1000 points (equal to $5), you can transfer your cash to PayPal. Again, why not earn a little extra cash?! Please use my referral code yik38996 at sign up so I can get some extra spins on the hog slots! :)

- Find&Save: This is one of my new favorites! They have cash offers for random places, and usually there is just a purchase price threshold that has to be met rather than specific items that must be purchased. Examples of current offers: $1 back when you spend at least $10 at Dollar Tree, 4% cash back when you spend at least $30 at Old Navy... and the list goes on! I've only had the app for a for a few weeks, but so far I love it! Once again, it's an easy way to earn a little extra cash on things you are already buying! Please use my referral code CQML at sign up.

- Shopkick: I'm a little ashamed to say I've actually had this app on my phone for a while now but forgot about it. This one literally gives you points just for walking into a store. Literally. You just open the app and it gives you points as you walk through the door. There are also scan bonuses where you scan random items throughout the store (you don't have to buy them!) and you get points for eash scan. You can also link your credit card to this app and you will receive points when you make purchases using that card, but you really don't even have to buy anything to get cash with this app. Just open the app next time you walk into a store that offers walk-in points and boom, free money! Those points are redeemable for gift cards once you reach a certain level - I'm on my way to receiving a $5 Walmart gift card, and keep in mind I've never purchased anything for this app! Easy money! Use the following link to sign up so we can both earn some extra points: http://get.shopkick.com/violet16903

CiCi's Pizza Perks

Before going shopping couponing tonight, Ethan and I decided to eat at CiCi's Pizza. If you know me, you know before I go eat anywhere I look in my stack of coupons and online to be sure there isn't a coupon available. I ended up on the CiCi's Pizza website and noticed there was a place to sign up and receive rewards via email and text. I went through the steps and signed up, knowing this may not mean I would receive any sort of coupon right away but thinking I could receive coupons or deals in the future. Immediately after signing up, I received an email from CiCi's - and it included a coupon for a FREE adult buffet with the purchase of an adult buffet! If you've ever been before, you know that CiCi's is already pretty cheap anyway, especially for a buffet, but getting one of our meals for free made it even better! Ethan and I ended up eating dinner (all you can eat, remember!) for $8.52! You can't beat that! So click HERE to sign up for CiCi's Pizza Perks and get your B1G1 coupon!

 End total: $1.79

  • TIP: You can't use CVS Extra Care Bucks on milk.

If you plan on making a trip to CVS this week, they also have Propel water on sale for $1.25, and you get back $1.25 in ECB when you buy one, which makes it free. My store was unfortunately out of these.

Publix Coupon & Rebate Matchups

Publix retail $39.44, paid out of pocket $13.56, got back $3.25 via Ibotta, $1.00 via MobiSave, and $1.25 via SavingStar, bringing my total down to $8.06!

  • TIP: Publix doubles coupons up to $0.50, which means if you have a coupon worth $0.50 or less, they will double the value unless the coupon says otherwise. Also, with buy one get one deals, you can buy just one item and receive it for half price. These are two reasons why I love Publix! (Please also remember each store is different and your Publix may not double; in the state of Florida, Publix does not double nor do they give you half price when you buy one item in a BOGO sale, you must instead by both items to get the one free.)
